And God Smiled at Me (1972)

Filmography #12
Movie Ad from Video 48

An entry to the 3rd Quezon City Film Fest. Ang unang pelikulang ng bigay ng "Best Actress" award kay Ate Guy.

Video 48 posted an article regarding the 3rd Quezon City Film Fest with Nora & Vilma as top contenders for Best Actress. Nora for And God Smiled at Me and Vilma for Dama de Noche. Click here to read the article and see the photo of Guy & Pip with their awards. Just don't mind the open letter although that piece correctly pointed out the difference between the two acting styles even that early in their career.

Let It Be Me

Discography entry 12

A song made popular by the Everly Brothers in the 60's. Ate Guy recorded her version as a duet with Manny de Leon on their album Pledging My Love. It was probably featured in one of their movies from Tower Productions but since none of these movies are available on VCD or DVD, I don't know for sure. Listen to the song as posted in YouTube here.

Darling (1970)

Filmography #11

A birthday presentation from Tower Productions. The movie opened on May 21st 1970. I'm still hoping one of these days, a DVD or VCD of Nora movies from Tower Productions will be made available in the market.
